It was actually a 27 vechicle supply convoy and Turkey has always allowed us to send supplies..

So I guess we are still not allowed to send combat forces into Iraq via Turkey!! :o

I have alot of faith in Colin Powell. He does not take any bull either. I would vote for him if he ran for President too.

We really don't have any heavy forces there to send in! Our bases in Turkey are all Air Force as far as I know. The 4th Infantry Division equipment is arriving in Kuwait so I don't know how much good this would actually be.

We still need to resupply the troops, spec-ops and Kurdish forces in the north; Kirkuk and Mosul are Saddam's tribal/family stomping ground, and is very well-fortified...too much so for rag-tag insurgents.
