Me, I play chess just for fun, these guys...probably gambled.

SLIDELL, La. (AP) - An argument over a game of chess ended with a fight in which one player rammed the other's head through a plate-glass window, St. Tammany Parish authorities said.

Robert Talley, 34, was booked with second-degree battery and later released on bond, Sheriff's department spokesman James Hartman said.

Robert Henderson, 42, emerged from the broken window with several serious lacerations, deputies said. He was released after treatment at Northshore Regional Medical Center, Hartman said.

The fight occurred about 1 a.m. Sunday at Talley's house, which is about five miles from Henderson's.

I thought this was going to be about one of the new games here on storm2k, lol.

It could happen. If someone ate my queen and checkmated me in one fell swoop, I'll be mad as heck! LOL

There was a fight out here at our jobsite last Friday. The Otis Elevator Crew Foreman actually started it by punching one of his own employees in the nose.

The guy he punched was about 6' 8" tall and about 20 years younger and he proceeded to kick the living crap out of the Foreman. I was coming back from Chow Down Alley and I followed the Police car and Paramedics as they were turning into the jobsite.

I did not see the guy who got beat up and taken away in the ambulance, but they did arrest the other guy who beat up the Foreman.

From the gossip I've heard around here, the Foreman who started the altercation deserved to get the crap kicked out of him, but maybe not to the point of being taken away in an ambulance.
