This in from FoxNews; Syria has opened its borders for (a) fleeing "refugees" (read: Saddam's inner circle) and (b) is allowing "volunteers" (Hezbollah, Al Aqsa, Islamic Jihad, you-name-it) to enter from the west to join in the fight for Saddam's regime.

This does not surprise me; Syria is home to the "suicide bombers", and Iraq has handsomely provided financial support for their widows and children after they carried out attacks in Israel.

Syria also declared, yesterday, that "we (Syria) are next" on the coalition's list (which ain't so) as an excuse to broaden the war.

Though not entirely unexpected, if this is true along with the intent, to broaden the war, it could (will) have serious ramifications. :o :o
