I LOVE the wildflower garden! All those blues
are absolutely gorgeous! But, inquiring minds
wanna know - where are all of your hummingbird
feeders, this year, Dennis? You had SO many
hummers buzzing around, last year!

THANKS FOLKS, the blue flowers are Bachelor Buttons (wild) and the Shasta Daisies are also from seed 8-) NOW......the hummers? :?: It goes without saying, it's been a WEIRD weather year  too cold for too long and now it's hotter than HADES and the hummers "didn't" make their apperance this year, I've got a *handfull* maybe, 8 :?: I've talked to other residents and they're saying the same thing????

Boy, I remember last year and the pics you took of your hummingbirds. That's a shame.

I got some mixed perennial seed is a box at Home Depot and was really surprised at the mix of flowers that came up - lots of Shasta Daisies, Coneflowers, Columbine, Sweet William and, believe it or not 2 Foxglove.

Yours love terrific. I love those bachelor buttons.

Beautiful Dennis! :D

I noticed in your wildflower garden that it looked like you had shasta daisies in there. I just planted them in mine as well this year.

despite your description of the region being dead and dry as a whole, your garden looks great. hope they don't put water restrictions on you for keeping it tended to.

Trust me, my WATER bill tells the story  HOWEVER, as of this coming Friday, MANDATORY water restrictions are going into place, we can water 2 hours per day, 3x per week....that'll do the veggie garden and trees, the grass
