Get a hold of a bible and check out Matthew 24 :o I used to think that these passages were of a time passed, and they were not applicable to present times. NOT! What was prophesized then suddenly is strikingly real. A snippet:" You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation; and Kingdom against Kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these things are the beginning of birth pains. Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me." Read the rest and Daniel as well. Very bone chilling. Hated by all nations :?: We're getting that...OK France, Germany, the Arab nations, the People of Great Britain (not the leader), the people of Australia (not the leader), the liberal press. You don't have to have an understanding of the complete history of the middle east/scripture and the prophecies of Daniel, John and Jesus......It is happening right under our noses :o But no sweat verse 13 says "but he who stands firm will be saved." I'm not a religious zealot, but a chritian who wants the truth, so I'm not trying to prosolitize here; but there is much truth in here; more than many will ever know. Let's take comfort in this. :D

Well Said Steve. Many people only think of Revelations as a prophetic book but in fact the bible is peppered with prophecy (in MANY MANY books of the scripture)

Daniel is enough alone to make your eyes stand on stalks!

There will be more

This will not be the only war in our time. Watch Iran, and as a sideline the Koreas. We will liberate Iraq, but rebuild it? Not without lots of interference. These areas will not stabilize soon, if at all. Watch for a shift of power to the European areas like France, Germany: even France's attempt to move into "build a Palestinian state" mode. This may further de-stabilize the region. They are not our friends!! Again speculation, but look at what's really going on. Scary!!

Yes indeed, we ARE living in some troubled times and possibly the last days on this earth as we know it. For MORE interesting reading, more proof of such, go to:

http://www.gnmagazine.org

there's some articles in there that will make your eyes pop up, the hair on the back of your neck stand up and make you take a serious look at your faith in Jesus Christ. I for one DO believe we are living in the time of the end.

Although we do not know the time, the birth pains of the end I believe are beginning :o . The naysayers would reply that "look at the fall of Rome, then the recovery;" or "look at Hitler, then our victory." These times are much different than those folks. It is not only the wars that concern me, but the thoughts of man. We have, as a race gone beyond the point of no return IMHO, where deceit and treachery exist on a Global scale. The truth for many will be hard to discern. The times ahead will be troubling. But the Kingdom lies ahead, so fear not!! Back to work. :D
