He laid across him for two hours in an 80ยบ room while praying and singing?

What happened to holy water, oil, and Latin?

Call me nuts, but I seriously don't believe that there are that many, if many at all, true cases of demonic possession. Some people are evil -- yeah. But possessed by the devil? I just don't think he's that powerful.

Well, the story says that this "preacher" had no theological training; ergo, no lingua romana, Hebrew, koine, Syriac, Aramaic, etc. to read from original sources and compare to "modern" versions of Scripture.

As for oil, laying on of hands, etc., it's obvious he didn't read the ENGLISH Biblical injuctions very well, if at all, either.

IMHO, if one feels the call to enter ministry, he/she should be REQUIRED to graduate from a theological school at the very least.

This "preacher' didn't know what he was about, and cost a child's life...whatever happens to him now can't BE too stiff re: the court...yet, there will be another Court, from Which there is NO appeal, to Which he must answer.

Article says the boy had autism...poor kid. :( And then his 'half-baked' parents take him to a priest for an exorcism?!
