We found out that we could NOT get Charter Cable without a second line...and our landlord expressly forbids that in our lease.

SO, we are still on 56K dial-up with a speed (true) of between 28.8 K and 37.2 K, depending on the server.

Sorry about the absence...seems I missed a LOT in the past 5 days.

BUT....I truly believe, that EVERY thing has a rhyme and reason. I'm still on 56K dial up but our server has dial up with the speed of DSL, not too bad :wink:
