The reason why has yet to be given and, frankly, I'm confused about it. WTH -- are they (Iran) getting into this also now?

Report: Iran Seizes British Ships, Arrests Crew Members

TEHRAN, Iran -- British officials are investigating a report from Iran that three of their ships have been seized in the waters near the Iran-Iraq border.

The report comes from Iran's state-run media. The report says eight British crew members had been arrested, and it identifies the seized ships as military vessels.

In London, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense says Britain does have some smaller vessels operating in the waterway, but no warships.

The spokesman says Britain has been assisting the Iraqi water police in the area. The Iranian report didn't indicate why any ships might have been seized.

iran is a supporter and supplier of terror. even liberals admit that. time to take the nukes out. if bush appeases iran, then they will just get the idea they can do anything
