The prospect of me joining the choir has hit a major snag.

I want to join the choir.. But I have been told that if I did.. I would have to GIVE UP my job as the Wednesday night greeter.

Here's why:

Wednesday night service begins @ 6:30pm. {and normally the last person doesn't come in till almost 7}
The choir practices on Wednesday nights BEGINNING @ 6:30pm

The music pastor and my pastor have already told me.. the only way I could join the choir would be if I dropped the Wednesday night greeter job. I don't want too because I'm having too much fun doing it.

But I really would love to be in the choir. I had so much fun today.

If you were I.. would you give up the greeter job and join the choir.?. Or would you keep the greeter job and hold off for now about the choir..?

I even asked both my pastor and the music pastor if there was a way I could do both and they both said No..

Wow, that's a dilema. Just stick to your heart. When you greet the crowd, you are the only one, so you are the star for a moment. In the choir, though, every person just adds to the shear beauty that is music. When you get to experience singing in a choir, be it a little school choir or a church, it still has a profound affect on you. Personally, because I can't sing at all, I would do the greeter job, but it all depends on what you want.
