As all of you may know.. I have been saving my loose change for months now to potentially go on a trip to St Pete this summer. {I may even go as early as next week.}

If I do go.. I'll only be gone a day and a half.. But I still need some time to unwind and let my mind refocus. That's the reason I want to take this trip. I need to allow myself to have a day or 2 where keeping myself quaint and at peace is my only worry. Plus It would definitely help me deal with my current storm a little better. {even though some say I'm handling it very well}.

Opinions about me taking the trip are mixed. 1/2 the people I talk to say that since I saved the $ myself, and since I earned it after graduating from the community college, I should go ahead and go, even with the storm I'm currently going through.

The other 1/2.. say that if I were to take my trip.. I'd be borderline nuts and using bad judgment.. and that even though I can't guarantee I'd have the money later.. I should still keep it.

This is my question.. Do you guys believe I should go ahead and go..? Or do you think I should stay home and moap lol.. {I will feel icky if I decide to skip it}

On another note.. tomorrow my trip $ and whatever else are going into the bank when I get my bank account set up.

I would take the trip! Nothing like a vacation to clear your mind.

Take the trip! We just got in from a 4-day trip to Florida. Man... I cleared my mind of most everything going on.

It sounds like money is one of the main problems for you, John. I have to say, use the money to pay the rent and ease your mind that way. If you spend the money you'll come back to the same problems no matter how "eased" your mind might get on the trip. Sorry, I'm one of the few who really thinks you should stay home and take care of business. ((Hugs))

If you can realistically afford it then by all means, go for it!
