A friend of mine joked that I did it because I wanted to practice for being in the choir next Sunday.. lol..

But I actually went out and bought my 1st ever worship song CD today..

It has a lot of my favorites on it.. {Days of Elijah, Come now is the time to worship.., Open the Eyes of my heart.. and To the Potters Hand}

I'm sure there could be a few of these when I do the choir on Sunday..

On a side note.. There is a father son breakfast on Saturday @ 9:00 am, right before the 10:30 am choir rehearsal. Even though my father has been deceased for nearly 6 years.. I am allowed to attend and maybe even had someone adopt me as their "son" for the breakfast..

Well.. I had 2 calls today. My pastor called me, and a good friend of mine both adopted me as their "son" for Saturday lol

See John, :)

We just never know whom the Lord will put into our lives, Brother. :)
((((HUG))))

At a former church I was a member of in Roanoke Rapids, NC...there was a special Father-Son breakfast on a Sunday AM Baptist Men's Day...a young man named Joshua who tragically lost his father (he was a trucker and died in a logging truck crash)...anyway Joshua was 'adopted' by another gentleman for the breakfast. :)

I wonder what songs we'll be doing for the choir lol

One time on Father's Day...one of the churches I had been a member of there in Roa Rpds...had a hymn "This Is My Father's World" that either the choir or the choir and congregation sang. :)
