52nd Wedding Anniversary

My parents are celebrating their 52nd wedding anniversary today.
Can you imagine, 52 years with one person? :D

And to think I am only 29---they waited a long time to have me! :lol: :lol: :lol: j/k

Wow that sure is awesome. Gives me hope that people can make it forever. It seems divorce is everywhere nowadays. Tell them congrats!

Do you have other siblings and are they older than you? :)

Anyway... 52 years is Amazing! My parents are stunned they will be married 17 years later this month. I'll be 16 next month. :D

I am the oldest and I have a sister 4 yrs younger than me.

That's terrific. We're working on year number 34 (39 as a couple!)

My dad, who will be 90 on his next birthday, was married to my mom for 32 years when she died. He has now been married to his second wife for 32 years this year too. Hard to believe that as of next month he will have been married longer to her than he was to my mom.

You are so lucky to have both your parents. I'll bet they do just great watching Wheel of Fortune together to celebrate! Might even stay up late enough to catch Hollywood Squares, too!

in this day and age when marriage is sadly taken for granted, this is wonderful news! congratulations to them!!! what has been their secret to successful relationship?
