I won't be around much today as we were asked late yesterday evening if we wouldn't mind doing fire patrol instead of DUI roadblocks, with the fire danger EXTREME, RED FLAG conditions AND with it being Memorial Day Weekend and 99.99% of Phoenix and Tucson residents being up here camping, they are extremely short handed SO......we get to go and HARASS the campers today :lol:

No campfires, no smoking, no flames of ANYKIND are allowed this weekend *rubs his hands together* :grrr:

We've already had one small spot fire yesterday....what kind of IDIOT starts a pile of pine needles on fire in 40 MPG winds with no water source near by? :roll:

Ya know....people NEVER, EVER cease to amaze me. We wrote 7 tickets today for illegal campfires, 2 for smoking in the open and ONE for "FIREWORKS!" IDIOTS.....I swear, sometimes I wonder how these people find their way up here!

You BETCHA sis......we only wrote 2 citations today, ya reckon the word got out, "Build a fire, face a fine, smoke a cigarette in the woods, your butts in the slammer? Naaa......LOL!
