If he's not dead, he's probably wishing he was.

I voted "injured" too... there is a chance he is dead, but I think we are closer to capturing him in some way with the news reports during the last one to two days.

The intel pictures show Saddam being placed on a gurney with an oxygen mask on his mug, before taken away by ambulance...how would we know that they didn't do this on his dead carcass, knowingly, in case anyone was watching? Everyone else in the bunker scene was treated as dead, so...

Yes, indeed... streetsoldier. I heard this on Fox News Channel, as I am sure you did about four hours ago. (from 4:12 AM Eastern Time)
If United States Officials are reporting this to Fox News, why aren't MSNBC and CNN getting the same reports to broadcast on their networks? Goes to show that Fox News Channel is #1 in cable news!

I haven't heard anything from the media that Saddam "has indeed died" so we just have to wait patiently folks (even though being patient can be difficult) and the media will get around to telling us when they've received confirmed word of his demise.

That's amazing that we got him on the first shots of the war. Based on the reasoning above, I'd say injured and then ??? That's satisfying in a way, that he was able to realize what happened to him. If he recovers, then he won't be a martyr and he could be held accountable for his evil regime.
