nah, i would say patriots realize we are not the enemy, terrorists are. you are welcome as well, cal!!
sorta like liebermann and dershowitz. they dont always agree with bush, but they know who the enemy is, unlike the partisan media.

Why can't a person who loves his county criticize a president if he/she truly believes it is warranted? It scares me to think of people who accept every single word a person (or a president) says as the gospel and never questions a thing. None of us is perfect, and there is always room for improvement.

No one has ever said we can't criticize the President. However, in a time of war(yes I know he declared it over) not supporting the President and the troops is seen by many as unpatriotic. If one is to be on the "other" side, whether it be Republican vs. Democrat, Gay vs. Straight, etc. etc. etc. then they should be thick skinned enough to take what is presented back to them. If it is not done in a respectful way on this site all one has to do is pm one of the mods or admins(if the mods do not take care of it(in the eyes of the one that feels they have been wronged))and it will be dealt with. This doesn't mean when someone disagrees with you complain. It means if someone starts calling names or "flaming" one for their views then let us know. Be assured this is being addressed to the ENTIRE MEMBERSHIP, not the person who it appears to be responding to.

Wow, the law of averages has kicked in; I actually agree with sunnyday for once.

I consider myself a staunch Patriot. I served in the Army for 4 years. However, I do know that it is the Right of every citizen of the USA to criticize any aspect with which he/she does not agree.

Patriotism is the love of the country you call home. It has nothing to do with accepting everything the government dishes out. I have never voted, simply because I've never held any interest in politics whatsoever. This doesn't make me any less patriotic than the next person, or any less American. I still have the right to criticize the President, or the government, 1. Because I live in this country. 2. Because I have served this country. 3. Because, I, just like you, am PAYING for this government.

Well I kinda think, like David thinks, that in a time of war when our young men and women are defending our freedom, that we should support them and our President. I also think that everyone who expressed their discontent for an elected official should have voted. Thank you for your service Bunch, but help us elect officials that you think are right for this Country. That's what it's all about!!! You have a voice and that voice is your vote!!!!!! You can't cry Foul after the fact. That's the way the system works.

If we don't support our Country, President and troops during this critical time then the terrorist have won. They will win the war no matter where it is fought - Here or abroad. I say we stay the course and kick butt!!!!!
