I dunno what to say. I personally am a Dedicated Philly sports team fan of 3 of the 4 major sports teams. I might not have the gear or show it but i am a dedicated fan at heart and follow the teams from preseason to the end. Yet again The Flyers did the same trick. What do we need to get over the top. We have like one of the best coaches in the NHL. its like a curse is sitting over philly for its major sports teams. Yet we got a horse that is just not right. Personally i dont like the horse deal. That sours my mouth alot because its not an established thing to me a fly by night thing. But coming down to a Por Sports thing we just sit and watch and get heart aches every season from every team. Phillies are crap. Personally imo. Only my opinion dont flame it. I am frustrated. I paced in the basement parking lot of the bowling alley for an hour straight and didnt feel it i was so numb from the loss of the flyers. I am not getting any younger. Watch Tampa take 2 of our teams out in 2 different sports. Watch Carolina do the same thing with 2 of our sports teams. I just dont get it. What am i going to be dead or 90 when a Philly sports team wins it all or something? Because thats how its starting to feel. I want to be young enough to really enjoy it. But i am not old yet being i am 25 but shoot i am nto getting younger. Its time for Philly to do it but its not gonna happen we dont have anything right now but for a horse. Heck the Phillies will choke like normal. So i dont worry about them at all. Now i have to wait yet again for the Eagles to startup. And yet again the flyers. The 76'ers i follow but nothing like the flyers and or Eagles. I cant even listen to my 610WIP sports talk radio station here for another few weeks because the pain is that hard. I know i am unloading sorry. But i must do what i need to do. I am trying to personally deal with this and i am now a bowling person. I am joining a league in the winter starting the first week of Sept. and it ends in May. 36 weeks long. I just started bowling back in Jan. So i am so fairly new to it. But i am getting game highs now bowling a 191 holding a 158 average now something unheard of being brand new to the sport of bowling. I am not even 6 months into it and got a well established average of a 158 now normally they say that shouldnt happen for at least 8 months of practice and time so i am well ahead. Its slightly getting my mind off of the sports here. But its not enough i want to be able to have my own Philly Sports Story a time when i was there like as a fan to see them win it all. I know i was alive for the 80 Phillies and the 83 76'ers. But i was only 1 and 4 at time. What memories do i have of them is none because being 1 and 4 how ya gonna be into the sport or sports and have a true knowing of what happend? Now i am 25 and yet have to wait more time while watching other cities going nutz as they win it and be happy. I just dont get it. What do all the Philly sports teams need to get over the top? Why cant we do it and allow everyone else to do it? Anyone?

I am so sick and tired of hearing this next year line. Its so old and yet so embeded into our heads we say it so fast its like no time at all untill we get to say it. I want to have us all say we are the champions and not have to finally say next year maybe maybe next year. Its so old and hurts so much but its a bitter pain because its so common.

I dont live in philly anymore but i use to my whole life...and ill tell you what ...the next team to win it all will be the Phillies and ill tell you why....Because in Phila the way i see the Phillies are the most dumped on team there is in Phila....No one believes in them year after year ....Oh they always believe the flyers have a chance and the Eagles have a chance but not the Phillies ...So because life is ironic the Phillies will win the championship ....maybe even this year.....Then all the "Phillie fans" who never believe in them can eat their words (no offense) ...lol....i love the PHillies the best out of all the Phila teams because they are the underdogs always even to their own city.

Yup life is ironic so the Phillies will win it all. I love the underdog.

I think the Phillies try the hardest and give it all they got year after year more than any Phila teams. They have the most heart.

Dunno if this si true or not. But i have heard that John LeClair and Keith and Jermey might retire now.

It looked to me that the Flyers had run out of gas last night. It's also very tough to win on the home team's turf. The new coach has only been with the Flyers for a year, and look at what they've accomplished. I'm not a big hockey fan, but I was watching during the playoffs. Sooner or later WE WILL WIN a championship. I think it's going to be sooner.

I am so thrilled about Smarty Jones. I hope that the "Philly curse" doesn't affect him at all, but I do feel really confident in him. It's great to see the the positive affects it has had on Philadelphia Park and horse racing as a whole.

Yes you are right about the Philadelphia Park deal. They have signs all over the place saying welcome to the Philadelphia Park Race Track Home of Smarty Jones. But yes you are correct with the coach. But heck i am hearing small chatter about Jermey,Kieth and John retiring. My Favorite sports players ever and favorite NHL players. They if they retire will be a sad day for me and will take a long time to get over. If the flyers make it back to the Eastern Confrence Finals i hope they do dear god. I hope they win that and win the Stanley Cup.
