Scalia a hypocrite

justice antonin Scalia is a hypocrite.
He received the City Club's Citadel of Free Speech Award (cleveland).
however as a condition for accepting the award Scalia insisted that the broadcast media be banned from from his speech.
the club usually tapes the speeches for later broadcast on PBS. but scalia insisted on banning radio and TV coverage.
he allowed them to watch but not record the event.
he later did not take any questions from reporters (this part i dont have a problem with, it is his right not to have to answer questions if he so chooses. )
i am surprised that the club agreed to his demand to accept the award.
