Oh my . I hope that homeland security is on full force this summer when there are big public events such as the parties conventions,4 of july,the elections and many more.For a long time there has been talk to attack just before the elections.

Yea I would expect backpack bombs to draw less attention then a jacket in summer. There are some crazy people out there and wear jackets all the time. We have one in our town here in Florida. I just saw him the other day as the temp was pushing 92. He is a older black man wearing blue jeans, shirt and grey/black medium jacket zipped 3/4 way up walking down the sidewalk.

Just stay alert people and if you see a crowd running away from something follow them. Also London has been mentioned as the first target then the US. So if you see an alert about London get somewhere safe. Philly is looking like a possible target.

i dont think it will happen here. the terrorists can see that bush is being hammered by the media here, and they can see that support for winning the war against terror is slipping away day by day. i strongly feel they want kerry to win in nov. the last thing they want is to do anything that would rally support around president bush. i now believe that the terrorists have won. if our country had united to defeat them, it would be different. but the terrorists have suceeded in dividing us.

Interesting about this warning, like so many others, is that they seemed to indicate the threat was upon us now...in the days just ahead.

The report I heard also tied the threat back to the stolen tanker truck from a few weeks ago.

Others we have heard have been less time-sensitive in addition to being more generic in their scope.

But if you think about it...we have now, and will continue to have, great vulnerability to such a crude weapon.

i honestly think we have nothing to worry about here, soldier. the terrorists are brilliant strategists. why would they want to rally support around bush? they can see cnn/jazeera. they know bush is being slammed in the media and by dems. they also can see that our politicians, and media are more concerned with so called prisoner abuse than with americans being butchered. if i were osama, the LAST thing i would do is

azskyman I have noticed a pattern with the warnings and news stories. All warnings seem to be non-specific, uncorroborated threat information. The news stories seem to be the same ones from different sources.

I have a feeling Helen that the terrorists aren't quite as partisan as you seem to think so. Remember... they tried to strike in the US under the Clinton administration, too!! I imagine they will strike on their time schedule... not the political time frame that we set up. That is giving them a little too much credit IMHO, or making them too partisan.

They want us DEAD!Everyone of us!

No matter the president.If they have the resources in place they will use them Election or No Election!

Don't be surprised to see a viral outbreak or how about a sword attack beheading woman and children in malls or a nuclear attack at a theme park or a small city near you?

I wish it was that easy rainstorm but its not,they want all of us dead and they dont care how they do it.

What would happen if 5 terriosts go wild in a mall and behead a couple dozen woman and children?

It would stop this country in its tracks!
