a chance to leave. i dont get it at all. even a reporter asked him if saddam would be threat in exhile and he just brushed it off. lets see, saddam puts people in shredders, rapes women, gouges out eyes, gasses people, and we still are ofrering a free pass? i am very concerned that we will yet settle for a half measure. why wont they just kill him.

they just want him to come out and make a statement so they can figure out where he is. Its just a game to play with his head...almost no chance he will say ok...take me to argentina please

i hope you are right. i am thinking they are delaying
the "shock and awe" so saddam will take his free pass.

May be just be a ruse to see if he's still alive to accept the exile. Or even another chance to see which Saddam shows up on Iraqi TV to say NO!
