A Shell gas station owner put up this sign again in Menlo Park, Calif., Monday, May 17, 2004 as gas prices raise in the area. The owner put up the sign last year when prices climbed. (AP Photo/Paul Sakuma)

That was about the same price of gas, maybe a little higher, from when I lived in Germany a little over year ago.

€1.159/liter
€1 = $1.20
1 liter = 3.785 US Gallons

$1.39/liter; $5.264/gallon

It's ranging from $1.979 to $2.179 for 87 octane.

Prices are averaged just over $2 in my area. Well, there is this one town that I drove threw today (the kind that you roll up the windows and hide your jewelry) where gas was $1.89 for the lowest grade.

I will be walking to work soon. J/K 10 miles each way. These gas prices are killing me.

I seriously thought about it. My biggest hobby, and this is no joke, is saving money. I'm crazy about sales and coupons. It killed me not to stop (lol), but I found another station at $1.91 per gallon.

Saw on the news this evening that the average price of gas in NC is around 1.92 and in SC 1.86...due to the lower tax thing in that state.
