Is Saddam really alive or there are Saddams doubles?

No manner to know if the real Saddam was in that speech in the past hours on iraq TV because it has been said that Saddam has doubles that are like him and the other thing is if that message at TV was a tape or was live but we will have to wait for the damage talie in that area that was hit with the 40+ misseles.

Sure didn't look like him, and didn't seem to have his "presence" during the speech. Maybe he wants to give that impression, but why would he? However, anyone in that bunker was definitely cooked. Would seem stupid that saddam and Sons would be together. That's just not smart. Explosions also rumored to have occurred in Qatar near CCOM. This is interesting, and waiting on confirmation.

I was also wondering if Saddam is dead or alive - and whether his speech was taped or live. If Saddam is still alive, I fear with each passing day it is going to be increasingly more difficult to find him and kill him.

Personally, I believe the man in the announcement on TV Iraq was one of his doubles, AND it was a tape. As to Saddam's death, or lack thereof...I don't think the ruling Ba'athists would let us know.

I think it was taped, but Wolf Blitzer, Rym Brahimi, and others have said that it sounded like him. An important point to make is that his body doubles are made to look like him, walk like him, but they are never allowed to talk.

The CIA just now confirmed on CNN that it WAS double and it was taped, not LIVE! Did we GET HIM??

can anybody confirm if thet both have that ugly mole or birthmark directly under the left sideburn? They had both pictures up side by side, but could only see one.

well we know about saddam doubles...even saw a saddam son double on foxnews earlier this week. just dunno if that is a double we saw on tv?!
