Computer/Keyboard Question...

Recently the "Tab" key on my keyboard has gone from tabbing to like the next line, to switching from page to page. Like if I hit it right now, it goes from this screen to the other internet window screen, and if I don't have another internet window screen, it just doesn't do anything. Any clue?

Have you changed any settings in your Control Panel or installed anything recently?

Make sure your "ALT" tab is not some how stuck down Colin.. Atl and Tab key pressed at the same time switches you from window to window.. If it seems stuck a little.. Pick your keyboard off the desk about 6 inches or so and let it drop. Sometimes this can Un lodge keys that are stuck.

Alt-Tab Cool! I learned something today. I know there's a lot of keyboard shortcuts like that, but I'm too lazy to read the manual.

In the stupid causes of problems department, try jiggling the keyboard plug where it plugs into the back of the computer.

lol.. No problem

There are three main Keyboard "short cuts" I use..

CTRL+X – cut. Removes your selected block from your document (or selected icon) and puts it on the Windows Clipboard.

CTRL+C – copy. Puts a copy of the block on the Clipboard.

CTRL+V – paste

Copy and paste with out all the right clicking etc..

Thanks... I never can remember the Ctrl + V to paste. I always hit Ctrl + P and I start printing things I didn't want to print.
