Bad News from Afghanistan

Makes it 30 Fort Drum soldiers since March 11 of last year...
There are 19 guys from our church deployed. I hope they all make it home safely.

FORT DRUM, N.Y. (AP) _ Two soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division based at Fort Drum in northern New York were killed Thursday in Afghanistan, according to the Defense Department.
Staff Sgt. Anthony S. Lagman, 26, of Yonkers, and Sgt. Michael J. Esposito, Jr., 22, of Brentwood on Long Island died in Dehrawood, when their team came under small arms fire while clearing a village, the Pentagon said.
They were assigned to the second Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment.
