IMO - War will start tomorrow - or one day this week....

#1 Postby Guest » Sun Mar 16, 2003 6:35 pm

I think the Summit was the rallying of allies for the US with discussions on what will be done with Iraq once Sadamn is removed from power.

Another war we get to see up close and live - like in Desert Storm? Are we ready as the American public for this?

Prayers for our great soliders who are over their giving of themselves for this Great Country we live in.

I think that because the world is so tuned into this concept of starting this thing, that it'll be pushed back after Bush makes his speech. Anytime after that is open for business and we want to bomb them off-guard and not knowing it. 29th or sooner!

Let us pray for a swift war with as little casualties as possible.

Not soon enough, but better than to wait on France and the "Axis of Weasels".

The US has served notice on the UN to remove the inspectors from Iraq. Several of us have said that this would be the last hurdles before war began. The only thing left then is President Bush's address to the US. We'll see if that happens tonight.

Wow J - never thought of that - interesting point.

Do you think the war will start before or after President Bush's speech?

Thoughts and comments?

I would think sometime soon after the President's speech when he gives official war declaration.

So much speculation and concern, but lets just see what happens with all the rumors!

I'm thinking he comes on and addresses the American people, and like Gulf War 1...we will have already started bombing the living crap out of them....but then again, there is always that possibility that he will give SH 24 hours to get out of town and avoid war. Highly unlikely if you listened to his interview with Rather.

I dont think we'll start, if we DO, for a day or so after the fact. There will be an eerie quiet and out of the darkness one night they will light their asses up like we did in 91. Watch and see.

I think we shouldve bombed him when we had Dan Rather over there.....kill 2 birds with one stone! lol j/k. But seriously...we should have sent in a high ranking person who wasnt afraid to die for his country and a common cause worldwide and just nailed the whole lot of them as they were interviewed. I wouldnt call that suicide at all, but giving the world a breather for the future.

Rush Limbaugh is reporting that Bush will give SH 72 hours to get out. So much for my idea that they would begin bombing tonight.

Rush is usually right so you can take this to the bank!
