I said less too. One of the reasons I wanted cable years ago was for Nick at Night shows. My youngest, a Sponge Bob fanatic, has no idea we lost both Nick stations yet. I dread even telling her!!!! She could stand to lose a few cartoons anyway. I'll just say - let me introduce you to a good book or two, or the History channel!!! Can you just hear the groans?

Uh, Stooge, #4 option would be my husband's vote. LOL But he's not a member here, so I'm not letting him get a vote.

Yes, it's the channel itself, last night while I was watching "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "CSI: Miami", I saw the message scrolling "You may lose KTVT/CBS 11, as well as sister station KTXA/UPN 21, Nickelodeon, MTV & Comedy Central..."

Update - big discussion going on in our household now. Hubby wants to cancel Dish, kids want cable, I want cable, and he wants to..... "let's go back to nothing again"!!! I knew he'd say that. Sigh......

We have directtv and still have all of the channels that Dish took away. We're too far out of town to get cable.

I wonder what they'll remove next? CNN, TNT, HBO/Cinemax, The Weather Channel, Cartoon Network, the Superstations, the local packages?

Blizzard - I agree. Not many are seeing the situation from Dish's standpoint. They didn't want to pass on the high price raises to customers. So in a sense Dish was thinking of their customers, not trying to inconvience them. While we were out a few channels for what, 48 hours, it didn't really inconvience us much. You did wonder what would happen to Dish had the dispute gone on for a week or more. But thankfully it was all resolved.
