I agree. Thats actually a scary thought. I think he's taking this "I will be bac" thing a bit too far

I saw this and said to myself Ummm maybe Arnold will be tentated to run for president in the future if the people who are not born in the US can run if the law is changed.

its not a law. you would need a constitutional amendment.

I didn't see the Tim Russert/Arnold Schwarzenegger interview, although I did hear that that he was on; however I wasn't in earshot to hear him mention about U.S. citizens born in an other country should be able to run for President.
Later in the day I heard a report that he (Arnold) doesn't want to run for President, but thinks that he should be able to if he was allowed to.
The law has gone on this long for a reason, it would take a lot for such an amendment to pass.

I think is one of the best provisions in place. If it wasn't, it would allow a lot of foreigners to come in and run. I am not saying foreigners are bad... but someone with a lot of money and influence, but with ties to something bad (terrorism) getting in the White House, while a long shot... could destroy this country quicker than anything.
Unfortunately, in the process, some good candidates get left out. Michigan gov. Jennifer Granholm, and California gov. Arnold, for example.

I love Arnold as an actor, but come on. He would not be a good choice for President.
