Someone for Everyone?

I married my beautiful bride more than 33 years ago. My family and her family tried at times to move us in different directions, but in the end, we are still very much in love.
I used to hear, and still do, that there is someone for everyone as though you need to keep shopping until the light comes on and the buzzer sounds. That is when you win.
In another time and another place, Kathy and I would not have met nor taken those vows. In all likelihood, there would have been someone else for both of us.
So, I guess the answer has to do with the items that are necessary on your shopping list and where it is that you shop.
Or maybe, as a romantic of sorts, I just want to believe we were brought together by fate and she really IS that someone.

You and Kathy are very lucky to have found each other, Steve.
LOL! I've been told that my problem is that I don't go shopping enough.

Oh Boy, Steve, that is such a deep question. I could write a LONG and very personal post about that, but I don't think that I should. At any rate, I come down on the side that there is NOT a perfect person out there for each of us. (Pulling hand away from keyboard)

I believe there is a perfect person for everyone and if you are blessed with meeting and spending a portion of your life with that person you are very, very lucky.

Well, at almost 32 years of wedded bliss I think I am with THE ONE! It was love at first sight and we still are madly in love. Besides we have decided no one else would have either one of us if were available anyway!!!

She is not perfect for me nor am I perfect for her but I think as a couple we are one of the very best. No one will ever find the "perfect" match imo, but you should never give up looking unless you are lucky like me and Steve and have the closest thing to it!!! Steve's wife has to be darn near perfect-she was born the same day I was!!!! And I am older than her!!!LOL!!!!

Indeed there is! Michelle and I, come to find out, had crossed paths a few times, YEARS ago....we just weren't ready to meet I guess. We both had TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE relationships before we met and I honestly believe that the Good Lord wanted us to experience this before he brought us together and "YES", there's NO DOUBT what so EVER that Michelle and I "ARE, ALWAYS WILL BE, FOREVER" Soul Mates!

I think it's great if you find that "perfect" someone but I do not believe there is someone for everyone.
I know many people who would love a spouse and have not found them yet. And probably won't.

I suppose until it happens for me, I can just keep dreaming.
(shyeah, right...that's about all it is...a dream)
