U.S. - Canadien Border Closed After Explosives Found

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said Monday that the border crossing between Washington state and Canada was closed after authorities found an explosive device in a car headed for Canada.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police confirmed that the item found was a grenade.
The incident happened at 1 p.m. PST, according to DHS spokesman Mike Milne. Traffic on both sides of the border was shut down and traffic was rerouted to Pacific Highway.
Canada Customs spokeswoman Paula Shore says she does not know whether anyone has been taken into custody.
