I think most of us have several fears, but we probably have one that outshines the rest. What is yours? Hopefully, this will not venture into politics. lol

Probably nowadays...an unknown like wondering when my folks will be landing a house or condo in Raleigh, NC...we'll be moving there to the capital city
eventually this year.
Snakes and spiders seem a distant 2nd and 3rd to the above-mentioned!

Heights, heights and MORE heights! It's funny, I can go UP a ladder to the roof but coming down, I'm kinda like a "Cat up a tree, call the fire dept!"

Ditto CajunMama
I woke up in a cold sweat last night after dreaming something happened to one of my kids. Just last Sunday, my son tyler got the tip of his thumb cut off in a door. He gets plastic surgery this thursday. There' little that compares to how I was feeling while I was driving him to the emergency room last sunday. Now each of my 4 boys have had serious injuries. Ryan got his face chewed on by a dog, Aaron got his foot cut by a lawnmower, Tyler, this, and Dillon got a serious burn from an exploding rock in a campfire. As boys, they are active and daring. I have a lot of gray hairs now.

Ditto on anything happening to my children. Especially my oldest daughter, who has a life threatening peanut allergy. She will go away to college in under 2 years now. That will be a worrisome time but step-by-step, I've be able to face each new stage bravely. Trick is to get Nina to take her meds wherever she goes. I'll be doing some heavy-duty praying when college starts! But I decided long ago, I couldn't raise her in a bubble. And the ironic thing is, Nina's the one with this serious allergy but her sister has had 4 broken bones by now! And needed stitches. We have had more ER runs for Laura than Nina! The Elem school nurse used to call for Laura, by saying now I'm not calling about Nina (she knew how worried I was about the peanut allergy), but Laura's here in my office with a stomach ache. LOL After a while, she didn't even bother mentioning Nina - I knew it was probably Laura she was calling for! Like you Ed, Laura's been our rough and tough tomboy, with all sorts of scrapes/broken bones. When she's tearing thru the house my pat phrase is - slow down, I'm not in the mood for the ER tonight! She just rolls her eyes at me.

Drowning... or suffocation, I panic even when someone touches my head when Im in a swimming pool, and I cant watch those programs when they put people inside coffins etc.. I nearly pass out. And I cant cover my nose with anything (a kleenex is ok)

.... I need fresh air all the time (I even need to duck outside now and again if the house has been closed up with the AC or Heat) Im odd I know
I dont need to elaborate that im claustrophobic now do I

Drowning... I can take baths/showers/etc and I will swim in our home swimming pool, but no lakes/ponds/rivers/public swimming pools for me.

Along those same lines - another fear I have is being buried alive!
