Local Kash and Karry store closes today

Well it's a sad day in my neighborhood. The local Kash and Karry store is having probably it's last day of business today.
it's been open for years. Even though I never did my primary grocery shopping there, it was a place I could go if I ever needed something late at night.
Tis be a shame to see it go

There are three supermarkets very close to each other in my immediate area; that is not including the Wal-Mart SuperCenter... they are Publix, Winn-Dixie and Albertson's. The Wal-Mart is under ten minutes away, (it opened six days after I moved to central Florida.
The closest Kash 'N Karry is in the southern portion of Ocala, FL [and there are two other Kash 'N Karry's in Ocala.]

I don't recall seeing any Kash n Karry's when I lived in Orlando. What exactly ar they? :-?

I've never been in one. I believe (from looking at one from the road) they may be a bit smaller than a Publix, but larger than a convenance store.
