A local talk show critic today said Janet Jackson hasn't spoken yet. She's the only one it seems like to me that has kept silent, unless I'm missing something! Post links if she has spoken. Thanks. If she hasn't spoken yet, that will be a media event, mark my words. If the media is going crazy over this stunt, imagine what they'll do when J.J. finally talks!!!

I agree! Her publicist is probably telling her to hold out for an interview on 20/20 or a similar program.

She finally made a statement late today from what i heard on the news. They say that she only meant for the black part of the constume to come off not the red lace bra. They made the decision for the ripping off part at the last minute.

This comes as no surprise. Justification because she only meant for a simulated clothes ripping off rape like scene. So be it.
The way I see it, had the incident gone off as planned, CBS and all involved are STILL in violation of FCC guidelines for Primetime "decency".

Well, Mike I guess we called this one wrong! I am glad she spoke out this quickly though. To prolong her statement would have just added fuel to the fire, IMHO.
