I want to first, thank everyone for the prayers and comfort that everyone has offered to me, and it has meant a lot. Becky was with me when I came back home to pick up her clothes that we washed earlier when I noticed my whole family over here, and he was still holding on ...

Becky was wonderful in comforting me and being there for me when I told my father that it was ok, and he had my blessing if he wanted to go to Jesus that he could. A few minutes later, he took his last breath ... It really meant a lot to me what Becky told my father ... and just again, I want to thank everyone for their continued support and prayers ...

SF, my heart goes out to you!!! I lost my dad 5 years ago in much the same way. Prayers are rising to heaven as I type for your and your family's comfort in this very difficult time. I am here for whatever you may need 24/7!!! I mean that!!! You did the right thing when you told your dad that it was ok for him to go to be with Jesus. I did the same thing with my dad and then he went home to heaven. It is so important to let them know that all will be ok when the leave, that they have done their job well and you can carry on. I am emailing you my phone numbers in case you need to talk at anytime.

Hey SF. I don't know what to say except I'm so sorry to see you going through this, and if you want to talk, I'm available. I went though the same thing with my mom nearly 4 months ago. My thoughts are with you.

SF, my prayers are with you. I know what it's like to lose your dad. I lost my dad in July, 89 to bone cancer. It was hard to let him go!
The Lord will comfort you and give you strenght to make it through this. If you need anything, let me know!

So sorry to hear of your father's passing, Mike. It is never easy to let go. The words that were shared in the end were wonderful. I remember saying the same thing to others over the years. One time, I whispered them to an employee of mine named Ralph. He had not opened his eyes all day. When I told him we loved him and that he could now move on, he opened his eyes and smiled. He passed on the next evening.

Your father was blessed to know you were there and that you cared so much for him.

We are here for you whenever you need us. How wonderful too to have Becky at your dad's side and your side too!

WOW brother, so sorry for your loss, I can certainly sypathize with you with the loss of my dad,sister and son in a 2 year time frame. I feel for you and just know that god will get you through it...somehow he always does, anything I can do feel free to PM me and I will do my best to accomadate your needs
