My Best Friend Marys son John had just returned from His job in Africa and him and his best friend Michael decided to take their Harleys down to the reservoir to hang out. They stopped at the store to get a soda and were joking and laughing.. Minutes later in jackson Mississippi as they rode down the road..John didn't know why but he fell back two car lengths..seconds later at an intersection Michael was killed instantly when the driver of a truck ran the red light and hit his Bike with such force the fuel tank exploded. Please say Prayers for Michaels family.. Four months earlier his mother died when given the wrong meds in the hospital. Also please pray for John..he has survivors guilt and will need counseling..God Bless you and Thanks

Michael's family and friends are in my prayers. You have to understand, it's better to die instantly than slowly and painfully. Now you know he is in a much better place.

I will keep his friends and family in my thoughts and prayers.

Emergency personnel work the scene of a fatal motorcycle accident on North State Street near County Line Road in north Jackson on Wednesday. Witnesses said the motorcycle was headed south on North State Street when a pickup turned left onto County Line Road. The motorcycle hit the truck on the passenger side door and burst into flames.

Prayers definitely for Michael's friends and family - so much tragedy for one family to bear. You are so right about special prayers for John. How helpless, guilty and lost he must be feeling.

That's terrible Johnathan, such sad news. Of course I'll pray for Michael's family and Mary's son. He must be going through such grief right now. As I'm sure Michael's family is. We lost a 16 year old nephew a few years ago, it devastated all of us.

Johnathan...our time here on earth is in God's hands. We must learn to appreciate all that we have each day. While his time here was much less than it should have been, I'm sure he made a positive difference in the lives of some he came in contact with. A prayer for you, his family, and all involved. Some difficult days ahead.
