Have you limited your driving due to rising gas prices?

I only use the car rarely, and then for trips to see my doctor; the wife, on the other hand, goes to college 5 days a week, and even she has one fellow who drives here and "pools" with her twice a week to save his gas (he lives 45 miles away, while we are 28 miles from her school). He does pay her a nominal fee for the extra gas...

It has not limited my use of how much I drive --yet. However, if it continues to rise I could see it becoming a problem during the summer for me. We will see!

I have tried to combine my trips and have put off a few long distance trips we had planned. My hubby has decided to sell his van and buy something which is lighter on gas, then we will more than likely resume our travel plans... I have to travel or else I start growing mold
(I have a good giggle every time I say the word gas. Back home it's petrol, gas is something you get from eating too many beans!)

I am watching where I drive and how often. I know I combine all my errands together now. Can't say I have stopped - took a road trip yesterday to Victoria which is 157 miles one way to pickup hot rod parts for the hubby. If gas gets to $2 a gallon - my perspective will definitely change.
We are cancelling our trip to Colorado in the first of June because of the high prices and etc. Plan to take local trips.
I got laid off last year from a job where I was driving 100 miles each day - now I work only 8 miles from work - so God was looking over me and knew what the future held and saving me tons of money now.
