Chrissie Hynde is the lead singer for The Pretenders, a pretty decent band, actually. They were big in the 80's. Chrissie is known for being a typical bit**, but there is no excuse for those comments she made.

Unbelievable!! Maybe we should ship her over to Iraq and let her live like the women have to live in that country. That would certainly change her opinion. BUT, when we go in to save all those women and children, she will not receive a gas mask.

Did anyone ever notice that those who reap the greatest benefits from our economic system are the first to "bash" it?
Chrissie, where would you be wthout all the "take" from the box offices while on tour, royalties paid for every tape or CD still sold, etc...while you sit in your posh pad, wearing clothes that most of us out here can't afford, being driven around in your luxury car...AND paying all those people to "shield" you from the rabble, without the economic system that made YOU possible?

lol what is it these days with these Hollywood bigwigs who think they can throw their weight in all of this? If they truly want to help in the war efforts, why dont they take their 20 million they make in a movie and give it to our Defense spending people so we all can live a more prosperous life? Bunch of whiners.....we should ship their asses off overseas and see how long they survive!
