Lmao, I'm probably the only one in Storm2K who will choose rap! I like everything, but I love rap, especially old school beats from the early 90's! Ok, attack if you must! hehe

Well all I hear in the studio most of the time is classical (tchaikovsky and those dudes) but when I am home it is such a mixed bag of cd's. I must say I am a bit of an alternative girl and I loooove classic rock (floyd, fleetwood mac, heart, rush) throw in some suzanna vega and a little bit of Bob Marley, top it off with some Johnny Clegg for some local flair

I enjoy golden oldies from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Also, easy-listening stuff, too.

I'm retired from broadcasting and I've played 'em all! At home I listen to classic rock, country and classical--depending on the mood.

60's, 70's and 80's, with a mix of classical, pop, showtunes, Celtic and (when trying to meditate myself to sleep) Gregorian Chant.
"Blue skies, sunshine,
What a day to take a walk in the park...
Ice cream, daydreams,
'Til the skies become a blanket of stars..."
"Cheer up, sleepy Jean,
Oh, what can it mean
to a...Daydream Believer. and a...
homecoming queen?"
You "kids" don't know what you missed....

I pretty much have an ecliptic variety of music that I listen to. Top 40, Classic Rock (1960's, 1970's music), country once in a while, Reggae, Jimmy Buffett, etc. I'm not a rap or classical person though. Classical I mean Instrumental music from Bach, Beethoven, etc.

What I really like about the oldies is how they lend themselves to "rewritten" lyrics...
"GORE! Hmmph!.....What is he good for?
Absolutlely NOTHING!
GORE! Hmmph! (Good God, y'all...) What is he good for?
Absolutely NOTHING!"...etc., etc...

I see there is a nice variety of music preference.
For me... it is probably country, but I listen to quite a bit of Adult Contemporary too.

So, StormCrazyIowan likes rap, huh?
"She likes big frogs, and she cannot lie...
You other sisters can't deny
When a frog hops in
With a slimy, green waist
And a "RIBBIT" in her face
she gets-"
"-FEELINGS..."
