A chilling information that comes out from an unclassified document from the UN but my question is why Hanx Blix didn't say a word about this in his report to the security council?????????

That's a great article Luis and a very good question, especially when Hans Blix pretty much stated that what the US and UK were basing their claims on Iraq's creation of chemical weapons is a bunch of bull!

I heard on Sean Hannity yesterday that the inspectors should be looking at the Iraqi front lines where the weapons would be used against our troops, instead of inspecting a bunch of empty warehouses!

Blix is being duped by Saddam pure and simple. I guess those weren't chemical weapons he used against Iran and his own people...

We'll just shoot them down before they get too far....our technologies today out in the theatre of war is so different from even in 91....so much more finely tuned and precision made instruments of power and destruction.

Yes coriolis the inspectors must go to the real places and not at those empty places.

I hope they get those people out of there when they start slamming bombs over there....seems udderly strange that they would pick the 17th....just like in Jan of 1991....the 17th all hell broke loos and we were in chemical suits at 2 in the morning for the rest of the war it seemed!

Yeah that would be hell if the loos broke. You must be getting finger fatigue, Rob. Sorry that's OT, but I couldn't resist.

I believe that this information is included in his "cluster documents". He sure used that alot in his report, but gave us no explanation as to what those so called "cluster documents" contain.

The burning question is...WHY did Dr. Blix "bury" the existence of these 24-ft. wingspan drones in his report, and not describe them in detail publically?

They aren't big enough to carry a SCUD or even a conventional warhead, but are more than capable of dusting VX, ricin, anthrax, etc. over wide areas...besides all that, they also violate the 93 mile limit imposed BY the UN back in 1991.

Who is Blix trying to appease here? :x

Blix has slanted his "findings" from the very first report toward Saddam and holds US charges up for ridicule. It's funny that he made a point of saying they've not found any mobile chemical labs but yet buried the drone finding in a classified report. The report was only declassified under pressure from the US.

BTW, there was a report on CNN last night that a German company had provided mobile chemical labs to Iraq years ago. What happened to them? Did they just dissappear? :grrr:

Where do you think Iraq got those boxes to jam our "smart-bomb" signals? Zum den "freundlische" Deutsch!

I just hope that we have some good "before" pictures of Saddam's Presidential Palaces! When the new "Daisy Cutters" get dropped on them there won't be much left for the "After" pictures. We stayed away from them in the first war but I have to believe that they are targets this time. :D

Yes, and you can put money on Saddam forcing civilians into them at gunpoint, packing them in like sardines so that when we do level them...he can scream "WAR CRIMES" to a sympathetic UN and World Court. :x

This is a definite attempt at undermining the US credibility in the Worlds eyes. They have evidence to support the intelligence we had on this drone, which Colin Powell introduced last month. This is a blatant smear campaign IMHO.
