Well, okay....ONE of the greatest...IMO.

"Love's Labor Lost" was one of the last episodes in the show's very first season and originally aired 3/9/95. It co-stars "The West Wing's" Bradley Whitford and underappreciated, lesser-known Colleen Flynn, who was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Jodi O'Brien.

It airs Tuesday, December 9th at 10:00 EST on TNT.

Shawn - there are a few I like better on ER.

First would be Carol's ill fated wedding to Tag. IMO, it sealed that cast as a truly awesome ensemble cast. Later on Mark Greene emerged as the core character but at first it was just one big group. I loved the scene with Doug consoling Carol sitting in the church pews. And later on everyone dancing. And that music.

Second would be the show where Doug saved the little boy from the storm drain. Major suspense and Doug Ross just was superb. Those dreamy eyes......I'm a sucker for them everytime.

Third and probably it for now, would be the ep where Mark delivers the baby in the ER. It was a major far fetched plot, why didn't GYN come down. They were only a few floors away. But it was riveting and you just didn't expect the mom to die.

One of their great ones, I think was when Lucy died from the attack at the hospital. What incredible acting!

Oh, Stephanie...yeah! Definitely another "two" of my faves ("two" since it takes place over the course of two eps). The first was "Be Still My Heart," where Lucy treats Paul Sobricki (the attacker). That was followed by "All In The Family," the one where Lucy died. How great was Kellie Martin in that one! It's so incredible when actors who are being written out of a show (not by their choosing) go out with such class and dignity by nailing a great finale performance. IMO, the same holds true for Paul McCrane (Romano).

I also loved the live episode, "Ambush."

Hey Shawn - you seem to know ER really well, from the episode name end of it. I've watched from day one but don't know eps like you do. Can I ask if you know of a great website? I'd like to find one and bookmark it so I can look back sometime thru the years. Thanks.

EpGuides is kinda like an IMDB for TV, although IMDB also lists TV shows that actors have appeared in. But it doesn't list episode titles and summaries.

Plus, I used to be on a number of Yahoo message boards (some Kerry-related for obvious reasons). But there was too much fanfiction and off-topic stuff being sent and I couldn't keep up. If I want to read fanfic, I prefer to find an archive and read it at my own pace rather than having it fill my inbox.
