That's wonderful. I hope that spurs them on to mop up and get back home. And I hope they see all the garbage on TV, that the American people don't support them is wrong.

I am impressed!!! He has no reason other than to show his support to go over there, yet he literally endangers his life and makes it a special point to be with the troops and to thank them in person!!!! The man knows what he is doing whether people support him or not. AND HE HAS MY SUPPORT!!! THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT!!!

Good thing it was so secret. There was so much violence probably still going on behind those walls at the Baghdad Airport. Great to hear the trip after the fact. For once the media doesn't have to get into trips very much until after the fact.
If any word on this trip to Iraq spreaded to everyone out there in the American Public, there would have been no way airforce one would go to Iraq. That plane would have headed to Washington. Great move, great secret approach. GO BUSH!!

I agree that it was a good move. I loved the scene leading up to Bush's entrance (they have shown it 50 million times ad nauseum so I am sure you have seen it). I hope it boosted the troop's morales.

I'm impressed. He made a risky move for his safety by traveling to IRAQ - but he put the welfare of his wellbeing on the backburner to give support to our troops over there. That's a true American.
God Bless him....

The Republicans may have some issues, but I can tell you that President Bush knows he owns the responsiblity in Iraq and doesn't walk away from it for a minute.
It was a great gesture and I'm sure a deep desire in his heart as well.

I am impressed!
His parents didn't even know about the trip until they arrived at his ranch for Thanksgiving dinner! I think it's great for our troops.
And of course, he has my full support as well.

ehr... so the story he went there because MRs Clinton did and he needed to counter-react that move, under election period, is another misunderstanding of EU journalists?

My fault, I misunderstood the news: Hillary was scheduled to pay a visit to the troops, then Bush decided to move in advance.
Sorry, put the blame on me
