I was thinking where to post this info about golf or in the sports section or in the off-topic but this is a big issue that has turned political that it is better to be in the off-topic.

This controversy is about if the Augusta tournement allows women to play with men.

My opinion is that woman can play anywhere with men but what is the opinion of all here?

Woem have no business being members of Augusta

It is a private Club.

What the hell is Jesse Jacka$$ doing protesting there. He has nothing to do with the issue. It is funny how he opposes Augusta being a male only club while he supports prefrencial treatment for blacks through AA. Quite hypocritical. While I do not agree with the methods and the message of the KKK, they are right on regarding the AN issue. AN has the right to decide who will be members, not the emmbers of the Communist Party, who are merely trying to interfere with the affairs of a private club

A private club has the right to admit people on any basis they choose. That's the whole idea of a private club! Personally I disagree with Augusta National's policy but it their right.

haha yeh they can let in whoever they want, but i don't think the KKK should be helping them with their fight. I don't think they want them to help either...from what i heard the kkk is "not the support they were looking for" hahahaha. Good move on their part@!

Jesse Jackson is a publicity-mongering bozo. So is this KKK guy.
I'm going to do a one-man protest too because they don't admit people that can't play golf.

The KKK, who were trying to support the powers that be at Augusta, have just made the situation worse. Which would they rather be faced with: siding with the KKK or having a female golfer?

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Now, THAT would be a great thing to see on the news...imagine so many beer-bellied KKK types being confronted with a gaggle of perma-P.O.'d women from "Camp Sister Spirit" from just down the road a spell...

One could sell tickets.
