We watch it every year waiting for Santa to appear at the end.

Never watched it growing up, and now I don't watch or own a TV, so I won't be watching it now.

Well, since "sometimes" was not an option - I chose "Yes". I have probably watched the parade 10 times in the last 25 years.

It's a tradition, in our house! I go over to help
my Mom cook the meal, and, we stop and look at
the floats and such in the parade!

Same here. My mother usually turns it on and I have watched portions of it during the course of the morning.

Hard to believe, (or almost hard to believe) that this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is the 77th Annual. That would mean the first one would of been in 1927, but about two of them were cancelled because of World War II.

Thanks for reminding me how old it is.lol

When I was in high school, wayyyyy back when, our band marched in the Macy's Parade and the Rose Bowl Parade. So, I've marched in both of them. The Rose Bowl Parade is a really long and hard march. The Macy's Parade was fun. We stopped and put on a little show in front of Macy's!!!

Now, at my age, I think, if I remember right, it's time for me to take my nap!!!!!!

"LOL KARAN!"

Like Chad said, Sure, it's a tradition. Growing up, I'd be wrestled out of bed by the smell of turkey cookin' and I knew in just a few minutes the parade would be on. I *think* I've only missed 3 parades and that was due to my days in the Navy, one year I was in Alaska, 2nd I was on a Med. cruise, the last year I had duty.

Me too! It's been a tradition for as long as I can remember. I never miss it! My mom used to wake me up on Thanksgiving morning to watch the parade with her while we cooked. :)
