He was a major producer in the 60's with songs like "Da Doo Ron Ron" and "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling." He created the "Wall Of Sound" which overdubbed vocals and instruments, creating the sound that we're familiar with in pop music today. He married Ronnie Bennett and created the girl group The Ronnettes with her. He is charged with killing a B-movie actress, Lana Clarkson.
