FORT WORTH, Texas - A 44-year-old homeless man has been sentenced to 26 years in prison for walking into a church preschool last year, setting fire to a homemade concoction of accelerants and demanding to talk to the news media.
Jurors in state District Judge Scott Wisch's court on Friday found Lester Henderson guilty of arson with the use of a deadly weapon. They assessed his punishment Monday; he must serve 13 years before he is eligible for parole.
