The CBS Sunday Night Movie "The Elizabeth Smart Story" pulled in 16,039,000 viewers to finish 15th for the week of 11/3 - 11/9. The NBC Movie of the Week "Saving Jessica Lynch," which ran opposite the Smart movie had 14,913,000 viewers and ranked #20. The NFL game on CBS ran late, which caused 60 Minutes to start 7 minutes late (and it ranked #12), which caused the Smart movie to also start 7 minutes into the hour. It's possible that viewers of the popular 60 Minutes who did desire to watch the Lynch movie flipped channels after the newsmagazine show ended, only to find that they'd missed the beginning of the NBC film. Some may have chosen to flip back to CBS and watch the Smart movie in its entirety.

I heard this morning on Fox News that her book is a "bust". Interesting, huh?

So I guess the Jessica Lynch story took #1 on Sunday night then.

Elizabeth smart took the honors for sunday.

Jessica's book is a "bust" in only one way, and that's in first-week sales (they are using Hillary Clinton's book and Harry Potter books as "markers", which IMHO is unfair).

Jessica Lynchs' book won't be a bust. It should sell a lot of copies. I'm waiting till next week to buy it. I went to the book store yesterday and realized I was a little short on cash lol

Online at Barnes & Noble, you can get a copy for $14.95 plus shipping, as opposed to the $23.98 store price...since I don't use credit cards, that option is unavailable to me.
