Dear Americans,

A few days ago I sent you a letter asking for your help
in stopping a film that does a complete hatchet job on
President Reagan's legacy.

The miniseries will air on CBS in November for the big
"Sweeps" ratings period.

Since mailing you, over 14,000 of you have signed a petition
demanding that CBS either spikes this film, or produces it
in a way that's fair to President Reagan.

Just today, we sent the first 14,000 to Los Angeles, to the
office of the President of CBS, Les Moonves. He's the
one behind this project. He's also a big contributor to the
Democrats, so big that he even sat with Hillary Clinton at the
1996 Democratic Convention. Are we really surprised that
this guy wants to destroy President Reagan's reputation?

As I mentioned on Tuesday, at various points in the film it
shows Nancy Reagan slapping her daughter, and President
Reagan cursing. Reagan is later on seen as heartless towards AIDS
victims, out of control of his staff, and at one point,
questioning whether he is the fulfillment of the New
Testament prophecy of the anti-Christ.

This film's portrayal of Reagan is a joke. I need your help.

My name has been added!! And I for one am NOT going to watch the movie. I am not going to help the ratings of this film by tuning in. That is how I will protest.

I will not watch the movie even if CBS edits it due to the outcry. IMO the damage is done, and the cruelty of putting this pack of lies together while the subject is dying, is a low blow.

That is just plain sad that they feel the need to try to discredit someone who I consider a wonderful American. Isn't he suffering enough right now?? What about his family? I just find it so hard to comprehend the heartlessness of this movie!!

I agree!! I feel so sad right now for them. Nancy Reagan has enough to contend with. Ronald Reagan is sick and he can't defend himself against this type of propaganda. The term "kick someone when they are down" comes to mind with this stupid movie.

the movie is a total farce

Ronnie was an excellent President and he is an excellent human being. I don't understand this one bit!! :-? Hopefully they won't air the movie.

I'd pledge not to watch the movie...but I don't watch tv much anymore to begin with....unless there's a football game or auto race on.

i just read this on the drudge report, that cbs will not air the show but that it will be on showtime. thank- you i do not have showtime so i wont be watching the trash.

He was called the "Great Communicator".....that's just trash......we have a Hwy. named after him.....The Ronald Reagan Cross Co. HWY...

CBS has not decided yet if they are going to "Pull the Plug" or allow it to air on Showtime. They will decide sometime today. CBS has suffered because of this latest tactic, both politically and by the public. I think it is a shame the liberal left are trying to take one last jab at President Reagan. He is in bed 24 hours a day and can't defend himself. Nancy Reagan is caring for her husband with her head held high.

CBS has now earned the title "Communist Broadcasting System" Bunch of liberal left idiots!!

Side note- If CBS wanted to REALLY tell the truth about Reagan then they would have talked to the family. Not once have they talked with any of them. That tells me that all they want to do is bash him and tell lies!! Or better yet, PROVES that they are liberal left!!!!

Hmm, maybe Babs Streisand and her crew will have less pull in TV Land after this............ Nah!!!

lindaloo, i agree with u totally. i really dont watch much of the local networks, unless there is a strom. the rock where in kentucky is that hwy, i grew up there until i was 15. have alot of friends there and 1 brother.

The "Florida Turnpike" was renamed "Ronald Reagan Highway" in 1998. However, it is still referred to as the "Florida Turnpike" with many signs every so many mile saying "Ronald Reagan Highway."
