Start of war predictions

#1 Postby sunny shine » Sat Feb 22, 2003 8:17 pm

I am just curious as to how you all feel about what day we will actually go to war in Iraq. My guess is March 15th.

the earliest November if at all. In fact, I would place the chances of the Korean front igniting before the Iraq front at about 60/40

Predicting the start of war is something that I'm not getting into. I know of the possibility of war, and how everyone here will be affected. War will happen when all the senarios come together...so I wouldn't really start predicting the exact dates of when the inevitable is going to happen.

Isn't the next Blix report due March 1? To his credit he keep increasing the pressure on SH, most recently over the missles. While I believe that the war would be justified, my bold prediction is that it won't happen any time soon. If there's a major terrorist attack, however, we're going in.

Im saying March 5th. Not sure why, but it has sure been quiet here lately. Kind of strange after all the boom, boom, booming lately.

March 5-7 is my best guess. That is the optimum period during which the new moon will give us near-blackout conditions. We need as much edge as we can get.

I've been saying the first week of March for the past 6 weeks or so. It may slide by a week or two but not much further.

waiting on Turkey

#12 Postby j » Mon Feb 24, 2003 9:05 am

Turkey holds the key to a prediction as to when the War will start. The father to my Stepdaughter's baby has been on 24 hour notice with the Army Reserve here in SC to deploy. This keeps getting pushed out, and word from him is Kuwait is packed up and they can't get in! His unit is communications, and you would think they would need to be there before they get rolling.

I'm going to predict the end of March based on what I see.
