Anyone planting new seeds for Spring?

#1 Postby breeze » Sat Feb 22, 2003 7:39 pm

I'm IMpatiently waiting on my Burpee seed order.

Cosmos, coreopsis, spider plants, and, I am trying
the new "Sweet Baby Girl" cherry tomatoes, a new
dwarf morning glory that can be grown in pots, as well
as the Burpee "Supersteak" tomatoes (an old favorite).

Gonna start them in the house for transplant - and, I
am jumping to get them planted and germinated and growing right along! :bgbounce:

Anyone else growing new stuff?

Does Burpee Seed company have a website? I love looking at their catalog. My parents get one but they won't part with the catalog - LOL.

I am planning my garden right now - I grow most of my veggies from seed except tomatoes.

Right now its too wet to even break the ground for the garden - we need two weeks of dry weather - and I don't think that's going to happen soon.

Thanks for talking to me about gardening - its my new hobby and I am trying to learn all I can.

Whaaaaah???? :o

LoL, yes, ticka, you can order that Burpee catalog at:

Burpee Seeds

I love planting! It's so very relaxing, and, in the late Spring
and Summer, when the light of day is longer, it helps me
to wind down after a long, hard day. I'm planting mostly
flowers, and, my brother, who lives next door, is the big veggie
gardener. I'll help him in the veggies, as well!

Stay safe and warm up there in the frozen tundra of Tennessee. I am going to checkout the website.

Thanks again.

Your very welcome!

My seed order was waiting for me, this evening, on the patio steps -

Yaaaaay!! :ggreen:

I'll get those rascals planted, this weekend, and, I'll be busy
"mothering" them to transplant stage. I've got to get a table
tall enough to set the trays on, just beneath a window in one
of my spare bedrooms, where they'll get the sunlight, all day
long. Aaaaaah - the work has started, and, I love it!
