Here are some ways to get an office referral or a detention before/after school or on a Saturday (Note: They are not recommended to any teen on S2K):

1. Come to class late.
2. Cuss in front of teacher.
3. Play rap/rock music real loud during a testing day.
4. Start a fight in school.
5. Look at stuff on the computer or TV.
6. Shake up the milk machine to get some bottles of milk out.
7. Spray-paint the school property.
8. Skip school.
9. (For boys) Peep into the girls locker room.
10. Keep right on talking when the teacher's talking.
11. Steal other student's PE/sports uniforms.
12. Steal books from the library.
13. Throw other students around during Pep Rallies.
14. Sneak into the teachers lounge for some coffee.

If you want to add to the list, be my guest. ;)

Or, for the jocks in here...smear your teammates' "cups" with Nair, IcyHot or NAD'S, and see what happens... :o

Let's add using the cell phone during class. If it rings, if you answer it in class, or if you go outside to answer it, in my class, you leave for the day with a zero. What a nuisance!

That is just plain rude. I am not sure that students should have cell phones anyway. What's up with that? I won't even let my daughters have a phone in their room for crying out loud.

Maybe they could have the cellphones in their purses or backpacks, but keep them turned off during class? Remember, alot of the 911 calls from Columbine came for kids who were able to grab their cellphones and call for help.

Bingo. That way they have a phone in case of an emergency, but it won't ring during class.

That's the way of doing it!

They should be turned off in class. Today, I left mine in my car, but normally, mine is turned to vibrate that way I hear it go off, but it does not interrupt the class.

Yes, however, if it is off and not against themselves so they can feel it vibrate, then those
important, emergency phone calls will not be answered.

I agree, cell phones in class are inappropriate. Nothing is more annoying than taking a test and someone's dang phone starts ringing. I could understand once in a blue moon, but it's almost a daily interruption in my classes.

And back to the main topic, how about gambling? We used to play card games for quarters back in middle school. First time was the warning, next time was detention. LOL.

When I was in middle school, it was the sicko principal, not the boys, who peeked into our dressing rooms.......

I forgot another one:

Start a rally/protest in the cafeteria.
