Death toll rising in Rhode Island Fire

The number of dead in a devastating nightclub fire in Rhode Island has reached 54, and officials say the number could still climb higher.

unbelievable!!! may these people rest in peace...my condolences to their families and friends. Its just amazing b/c i went to sleep only thinking that 50 were injured and now 50 are dead!!

What a shocking story, my sympathies also to victims and families affected by this tragedy.

I've watched the death toll rise all morning. Now it's at 65. I pray it doesn't go higher.

Very, very sad story. And to think it's all caught on tape. It's almost unbearable to watch.

Thats just plain crazy! Seems to be a trend going around...and the group Great White that was playing there lost a member as well. Hard to believe almost 70 people died...that just sucks! Sad and the video shows the place going up from the show's pyrotecnics display and it spread fast.
