ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — A woman who chased a little boy around a McDonald's — then rubbed hot french fries in his face — is off to jail.
But instead of the ten years she could have gotten, her sentence is just four days.
Milikia Hayes had pleaded guilty to second-degree assault for the May 17th incident at the restaurant, which is inside a Gaithersburg, Maryland, Wal-Mart.
Authorities say a four-year-old boy accidentally spilled ice cream on Hayes' shirt. They say Hayes — who was nine months pregnant at the time — began screaming at the boy. She then chased him around the restaurant, put him in a headlock, and rubbed the hot fries in his face.
The boy wasn't seriously hurt. Hayes will also have to attend anger management and parenting classes.

Oh my! If she is capable of doing that to a strangers child, what is she capable of doing to her own children? That is a realy scary thought!
If some person did that to my 4 year old son... well lets just say there would not be any parts left to put in jail!

Ya think she could use a course in anger management??

Hopefully, it will help her.

Times like this when I truely believe people should have to get a license to breed... I mean.... wow... and she's going to have her very own in a short amount of time.
Poor kid. I can't decide which I feel worse for- the McDonalds kid- or the one she's having!

I wonder if she knew the french fries were hot?? If the package didn't say then she might countersue.

And I thought I needed counseling...

That woman has some real serious issues. To even put her hands on a small child in anger over a stain on her shirt tells me she has no business having a baby...because she'll soon likely have far worse on her clothes than a milkshake (as an infant, I reportedly once peed all over my mom as she changed my diaper...wet her from head to toe

My sentiments exactly Perry!
My son thought my white church pants whould look nice with mud hand print patterns... Kids mess!
Especially being pregnant you tend to be more tender hearted, more so towards children, at least most pregnant woman that are normal are... I dont even want to think what she would be capable of if she were disceplining her own child!

If there had been ketchup on the fries, they would have doubled the sentence. Makes you lose faith in the human race.

I mean, how can anyone be so angry over a fresh milkshake stain on a shirt?
And second of all, kids that young don't know any better, sure they create a small accident, but people usually wipe the stain off the shirt immediately, not SCREAM at the kids and wipe hot French fries on his/her face and let the stain go through his/her shirt some more. I think it's another sign of P.M.S., I'm not sure.

I don't think that lady is ready for ANY child situations...if she gets royally POed about a simple stain, then she shouldn't become a mother.

Will we be seeing her name in the paper for child abuse on her own little one? Quite possibly. Some people do not need kids!

Hmmmmm.......I'm thinkin' there are TWO mothers here that need some help. I sure do agree that she should do some serious thinking about her actions while she's sitting in jail for those four days.......but what about that little fella's mother?
If anyone had ever taken any action such as this towards my children, I'd have put myself between them REAL fast! Sounds like that little four year old will continue to have other challenges..........p

Yeah, I'd say that lady overreacted a bit. Why just today the quarter pounder I was eating squirted ketchup all over my pants. And I did it all by myself. So if I can do it, so can a little kid.
